Visited here to celebrate my birthday this week and had such a wonderful experience. We were served by Mo who was brilliant - He did an excellent job at talking us through the cuts of beef and dealing with our dietary requirements, his customer service was 10/10. The drinks were delicious, very strong and well presented, I’d come back for the cocktails alone! Finally, the food - we had the tomahawk cooked medium and it was cooked to perfection, full of flavour and very juicy. Also the char Sui pork was so tender (I didn’t even need a knife to cut it) and the flavour was perfect. The short beef croquettes were amazing too. I recommend trying both if you visit. Overall, I would definitely recommend and it is excellent value you for money. My only note would be as some who is dairy free - I wasn’t a fan of the selection of sauces to go with the steak (there’s only teriyaki or chimichurri), I wish there was a gravy option as it would’ve gone wonderfully with the steak but that’s just my personal preference really.
We had a 5* experience when we went for the first time on Saturday (10th may '25) We were looked after by Kamran, and oh my goodness. He was so informative, polite, and extremely pleasant. The food was some of the best I've personally ever experienced. We started with the short rib croquettes which were honestly devine. Then my partner had a ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection. I had the fire roasted chicken which was the best chicken ive ever had from a restaurant. It was so flavorful and tasted incredible. The sides were super yummy too! The desert was to die for and the personalisation was such a sweet suprise! Everything was just perfect. 10/10 visit, would highly recommend for a special, fine dining experience.
Absolutely incredible restaurant, a real Birmingham gem! We have been several times and are always talking about our next visit. Steaks are phenomenal but I don’t think enough attention is given to the side dishes. Each one is interesting, balanced and unique - they really set this restaurant apart and I would recommend trying the cabbage in particular! Very clean throughout and beautiful bathrooms!
Honestly blown away. Came here for dinner on a weekend away and the food was incredible. The chicken wings are not to be missed crispy and flavorful. The curry mussels are next level. I normally love a tomahawk at steak houses but tried the porterhouse this time around it was to die for and the fried broccoli was WOW. I eat out so much and find it really difficult to be impressed by places but the service was amazing, our server was attentive and knowledgeable and the bar staff took the time to come over and discuss wines with us and they knew their stuff! Honestly a great place, good vibes, 10/10 service and incredible food. Thank you so much this is a great restaurant all round.
I have no words… What a stunning establishment, with impeccable staff and delicious food. I want to say a massive thank you to Faysal who hosted me and my best friend all evening; his recommendations and warm nature made our experience better than expected. Halal options are available, I would highly recommend the lamb chops. Everything is cooked from fresh and the balance of flavours really elevate the dishes! I will be back for sure :)
Absolutely wonderful, great staff, fantastic food, service that doesn't intrude, and for the quality of the whole experience a really fair price. The Porterhouse 800g was enough for two (and you get two sides), the rib croquettes were divine, and the chocolate dome was perfection. My one regret was not to try the wings...next time.
Even Better taste than we expected . The steak is amazing good. My wife not a steak lover because she don’t like too much smell, but It doesn’t even have beefy smelling. Very impressive. The chicken very tender not like boiled try. Is very soft and tasty. And the staffs are very friendly and helpful to recommend us what’s the best option of the steak we can take base on preference. Thank you very much. We love the food and the restaurant even the service 5 stars is not enough for this restaurant. Should have give more. .
Wow what a great restaurant and lovely food. My colleague ordered the pie and it was immense. Cracking vibe with the dj and music was at a good level so conversation could still be held. Brilliant concept of having farm connection and sourcing. Will definitely look to visit a Pasture again.
